As I am on my way to Disney’s magic kingdom, I sit with gratitude. I think of those who can’t sit with me at this moment. I sit and think of those who are incarcerated. Those who are hospitalized because of an illness. Those who desperately want to be in America. And I am just in awe of what today brings me. This moment is quite unique, so I had to document it.
As I enter the theme park for the third time, I am privy to how special this place is. The magic kingdom has so many great musicals to watch and fun rides for all ages. As I roam around the theme park, I noticed so many adults wearing first-time stickers. And so to think as a child, I got to experience this.
Leading up to this moment, I was focusing on my problems. But as I allow this moment to marinate, I am reminded of how there is so much to be thankful for. So, in short, I urge you all to live in the present moment, step outside your current problems. Remember, you have so much to be thankful for.
